If you are experiencing any abuse, know that you are not alone. You are entitled to various assistance regardless of your immigration statues. There are several agencies throughout the state that offers full assistance to people affected by domestic or sexual violence. Simply contact the agency serving your area to receive free and confidential services.
These agencies help with crisis intervention, restraining and harassment orders, court follow-up, individual or group counseling, therapy, shelter placement, emergency food (grocery gift cards), moving or relocation costs, lawyer referral, cell phones with 30-day plan, and other assistance you might need. .
