Financial Stability Workshop and Others Connecting the Dots to Success Financial literacy and entrepreneurship, along with personal storytelling . T his program is a comprehensive and holistic initiative aimed at empowering women with limited English proficiency b y allowing them to not only have financial knowledge, but also explore entrepreneurial opportunities. Central to the program is the discovery of inner strength through the narrative of each participants' autobiography, promoting resilience and self-confidence. This approach with cultural inclusion ensures that participants can overcome personal, linguistic and cultural barriers, opening up the path to improving their quality of life and greater economic independence. ITIN ITIN (Individual Tax Identification Number) and Income Tax Filling ITIN & Income Tax Due to restrictions on funding received from the United Way of Greater Fall River, we can only offer these services to residents of Fall River, Somerset, Swansea, Assonet, Little Compton, Tiverton, and Westport. If you don't live in these cities, look for the VITA program that offers these services. (Explanatory video here ) This funding allow us to pay the accounting company to come to our office to offer these services free of charge to people making up to $60,000 per year. To apply for the ITIN, the accountant must also issue your income tax return. You must have arrived in the country in the previous year or earlier. According to the IRS rule, you cannot apply for an ITIN in the same year you arrived in the country, as you will not have income from the previous year to declare. The ITIN is a document issued to those who need to receive a salary or other types of payment that require a tax return. It is only provided by the IRS and used by taxpayers who do not have a Social Security number. It is very similar to the Individual Taxpayer Registry (CPF) in Brazil. The main function of the ITIN is to allow a foreigner to file his or her personal income taxes in the United States. The identification number is provided the first time the interested party declares their tax to the IRS. However, this ITIN has other benefits. With it you can open a bank account, apply for a credit card, finance the purchase of a car or house, open a company and other things. Early intervention The Early Intervention is a free Massachusetts program for infants and children from birth to 3 years of age who have developmental delays or are at risk of developmental delays. Babies and toddlers develop and learn through everyday experiences and interactions with familiar people. The Early Intervention process, from initial contact to transition out of the program, is collaborative, individualized, and reflects the child's and family's priorities, learning styles, culture, and community. You are an important part of this process. You play the most important role in bringing the results of the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) to your family. What will my visit be like? During the home visit, you, your child, and your early intervention specialist will: Learning about things your family does every day, like eating, showering, or going to the grocery store. Are these things easy? Are they difficult? How does your child do these things to you? Develop strategies to support the results of the Individualized Family Service Plan. Help make sure you and your child are feeling confident learning new skills while enjoying family activities. Why are visits made this way? Massachusetts Early Intervention uses surveys to guide home visits. It focuses on three concepts in working with families: Babies and toddlers learn best through lots of practice during everyday activities. You have the biggest impact on your child's progress. You are with your child every day. Early intervention is only with your family for a short period of time. The specialist supports your relationship with your child. They use the Parents Who Interact with Babies (PIWI) principles to guide home visits.
