CONSULAR SERVICES
The New England Community Center will be offering all Brazilian consular services, these services have a minimum service fee plus others such as the consulate fee. All information is below:
Passport for adults
-Original certificate or copy authenticated by a notary in Brazil (see your marital status)
-Military document for men up to 45 years old
-Electoral discharge certificate
-1 photo (we can take it on site, value $18.00)
-Money order from the post office of $120
-Keep at hand 2 pre-stamped priority mail envelopes worth $9.90 each stamp! HEREexplains what these envelopes are.

Adult presenting passport for a total of $215.00 including money order above
Adult without passport: $220.00 including money order above
passport for minors
-Brazilian birth certificate of the original minor (MANDATORY)
-Previous passport if any
-1 photo (we can take it on site, value $18.00)
- 1 money order from the post office worth $40 for children up to 3 years old, and for children over 4 up to 17 years old the amount is $80
- Valid official identification documents of parents
-Brazilian parents must bring Brazilian documents
-Foreign parents must bring documents such as a valid passport or driver's license.

Important!!
Every passport application for a minor must have both parents present! It is mandatory to go through a notary public and the apostille must be made with the secretary of state. Both will be offered on the day. (Notary signature fee: $5.00 per signature of the responsible person. Apostille service: $50.00 to go to the American agency and $6.00 per apostille sheet.)
You can have up to 3 passports in the same envelope only if you are a direct family member such as father, mother and children. Otherwise, there are only 2 passports per envelope.

Voter registration
Documents required to regularize the Electoral Title
-Valid passport
-Valid Brazilian CNH or Identity Card above 2010
-Original marriage certificate or certified copy by a Brazilian notary if you are single
-Original marriage certificate or certified copy by Brazilian notary if married
- Widower - marriage and death certificate
- Divorced - marriage certificate with divorce annotation
-Men up to 45 years old and mandatory military document
-Proof of residence
Attendance fee 50.00 +copies
Birth certificate
-Only the Brazilian Responsible may request the certificate
-Original and copy of the identity document of both parents. Brazilian parents must present valid Brazilian document
-Original and copy of the birth certificate of the child's parents to prove the name of the grandparents
-Original and copy of the parents' Brazilian marriage certificate, if any
-Original and copy of the minor's foreign birth registration certificate.
Attention: the name of the parents on the consular birth certificate cannot be different from the one on the Brazilian marriage or birth certificate, even if the composition of the name on the foreign birth certificate of the child is different. In order for the registration to be authorized, it will be up to the interested parties, through the presentation of official documents, to prove that the different names identify the same person.

The presence of parents with a valid Brazilian document is mandatory. If one of the parents is a foreigner, you need a valid document such as a driver's license or passport. Delivery period 1 week.

Marriage Registration
For registration of marriage, the applicant must be Brazilian
-Foreign marriage certificate
-Original birth certificates of the couple
-Official identification document of the couple
-Brazilians must present an original Brazilian identification document
-Foreigners must present an original and valid identification document such as a passport or driver's license.
-Foreign document proving the change of name (if any) and proof of previous divorces. If one of the spouses or both were previously married, original documents proving all divorces must be brought.

Military Enlistment and Discharge
-3 months proof of residence
-Passaporte
-Birth certificate
